Un article super intéressant a été fait sur d'anciennes pubs VW pour le moins délalées comme (pour la golf) :
- "Rabbit GTI, le lapin qui fait vroom." pour la golf I Rabbit GTI.
- "Tout ce qu'on peut lire sur les lignes de vos mains, c'est que vous n'avez pas la chance de posséder une golf." vantan la solidité et la qualité de la Golf II, les mains étant pleines de cambouis.
- "Devinez où monsieur Lambert gare sa golf.", avec des places de parking toutes noires au niveau du mur, sauf une, ventant la présence d'un catalyseur de série sur la Golf III.
- La plus pertinante à mon goût : "C'est toujours le mêmes qui bossent. Golf Syncro, la 4 roues motrices de Volkswagen.", symbolisant une seule voiture sortie de sa place de parking recouvert de neige.

Le tout suivi du slogan "Volkswagen. C'est pourtant facile de ne pas se tromper."

Et bien d'autres encore (Cox, ...).
